Marilyn Warrener stood in Central Teignmouth Ward, to fill a recent casual vacancy in the Town Council. Sadly she did not win a seat and was pipped at the post by a Lib Dem. However we want to thank her for all her work, both during the campaign and as a person in Teignmouth. She is the main body working in TeignAid, an organisation which helps those with challenges financially and with housing or benefits. She works tirelessly, and gives so much of her time to make sure people’s difficulties are sorted out and problems solved. So although the Council have lost her as a brilliant potential Councillor, we have still got her as an amazing Labour member in Teignmouth, and someone who will go on working for her fellow residents just as hard as if she had been elected.
